This is one of mine too, and reminds me of another one - which I'm sure is worse post-Covid. Or maybe I just notice it more these days:

People driving along unlit country roads WITHOUT their main beams on.

They potter along like myopic numpties, because they can't see where they're going. 🤦

That's been an issue for years. I suspect it's people being too afraid to turn on the full beams because they can't remember where they are, or don't think they can turn them off quickly enough and don't want to get the terribly embarrassing flash back from oncoming cars they've inadvertently dazzled.

Years ago, I ran a couple of 'weekends away' Blue Riband courses, with riders from Lahndun.

November ish, so dark when we ended day 1's riding.

Interrupted by, for one rider, adjusting the ir headlamp alignment (it was pointing down) and explaining how to use high beam. He'd never ridden outside of London and away from streetlights.
Even bland can be a type of character :wave:
