I was doing some training today but when i rolled the Fazer out of the garage it had a front tyre that was flat as a pancake so the Multi got used instead ..... Even with all the power settings turned down to minimum its a pain in the arse to ride that slowly behind students

Still plodding away in November. If we could lose the wet part in climate change,I'd be a fan.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
I was out on the 650X today, glad I was wearing my Winter gloves.
I went for an explore across the moss, this roads been closed for a couple of months where a bridge goes over the old dissused railway line, they've put big concrete blocks across the road but there's enough of a gap to get through on 2 wheels
The temps have dropped but no sign of the gritters just yet & it seems like a few weeks since we last saw the sun.I think it's time to put the Summer gloves away now..

Sun should have reappeared yesterday evening in the NW and should be reasonably bright for the next few days. Staying fairly mild.Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 4:34 pm

Would you be kind enough to let me pinch that second photo?
Would be perfect for my Science Of Being Seen presentations to show that lights are useful on dull grey days!

Another reasonable day. It's quite cool,so the chainsaw loves that old dense air.

Yes feel welcome to use it,although of my 3 bikes currently on the road I think the 650X has the poorest light to be seen with, the 650S & Street Triple are both twin headlight & I think it gives them more 'presence' with regard to being seen by other road users. The Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 9:58 am [

Still salt free locally, though I hear whispers they've been out on high ground. Being at sea level has it's advantages!

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Only a quick 30 mile round trip to meet the Mrs for lunch in St Evenage where she works. Parked at Bikestop, actually Stevenage old town is nice, it's the rest of it that's a shithole. Not the best of rides down the 602 but 13th Nov I'll take it Bike is a bit (very) minging with flies and some mud from my last ride, but if the bike was clean I probably wouldn't have used it today. Debating whether to clean in Sat for winter hibernation or chance the weather holding a little longer. Sounds like things are getting chilly this weekend.

If Piaggio were exhibiting at the NEC I'd probably go, mainly so I could get a proper good look at the V100 Mandello. I think they're bloody great. But they're not, so I probably won't.

The Via Moto webshite suggests they've got one left in white, It's a bit nearer then the NEC.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 8:46 pm If Piaggio were exhibiting at the NEC I'd probably go, mainly so I could get a proper good look at the V100 Mandello. Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
I must admit that the green option was the one that really caught my eye, but £2.5k off list is a powerful incentive. Shame that Via Moto are no longer 10 minutes away, but...KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 8:49 pmThe Via Moto webshite suggests they've got one left in white, It's a bit nearer then the NEC.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 8:46 pm If Piaggio were exhibiting at the NEC I'd probably go, mainly so I could get a proper good look at the V100 Mandello.
