Re: Valencia floods threaten season-ending GP
They said I would receive a refund.
Makes sense as not everyone who has tickets for Valencia would be able to go to Catalunya.
Easier to administrate too-one section of theTicketing office will sell new tickets, another section will issue refunds.
Plus they say any profits will go to flood relief.

OK, bit of a rush to judgement on my part. Apologies.

I didn't think that this would happen either. Apologies too.

Re: Valencia floods threaten season-ending GP
Got an email from MotoGP
Please choose one of the options below:
OPTION 1: ROLLOVER TO 2025 VALENCIA GP
By selecting this option, you can roll your ticket order over to the same race in 2025, and new tickets will be issued closer to the event date.
OPTION 2: ACCOUNT BALANCE
With this option, you will be refunded the full amount of your order to your MotoGP™ account as an account balance, valid for 2 seasons. You will be able to use this to purchase tickets for any event in 2025 or 2026, in the same master currency (EUR). You will receive an email confirmation when your Account Balance is ready and instructions on how to use it. Please note that we will process your request after we receive the funds from the circuit.
OPTION 3: GET A REFUND
Request a refund for the value of your ticket(s), which will be credited back to your original payment method (minus a 5% refund processing fee – Initial insurance, handling, instalment, e-ticket management charged at the time of purchase will not be refunded – find out more in our Terms & Conditions). Please note that we will process your request after we receive the funds from the circuit.
Who the fuck charges a 5% refund processing fee!!

Re: Valencia floods threaten season-ending GP
Yep AND the refund does not include the €9 booking fee or their €5 charge for e-tickets on the Valencia tickets.
Plus I have had to pay both of those fees AGAIN for my Catalunya tickets for next weekend.
If either of the other two options are used, MotoGP get to have MY money earning them interest for one or two years, without offering any benefit to me. Its a win-win for them, a lose-lose for fans that had purchased tickets

Re: Valencia floods threaten season-ending GP
Saw some reports of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans chanting racist abuse through the minutes silence for the Valencia dead during the lead up to their match in Amsterdam.
Their reason for doing so? That Spain supported Palestinians genocide case.
Seemed a tad inflammatory to me.

Which would be great if that's where this portion of the refund were going...mangocrazy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 12:21 pmBut just think of the Solidarity...Whysub wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 11:36 am Yep AND the refund does not include the €9 booking fee or their €5 charge for e-tickets on the Valencia tickets.
