I've been asked by more than a few people to ban you but I resist it as that's not who I am and not what this place is supposed to be, but the simple fact is, you're making this place unpleasant for people.

I don't follow the politics action,so my perspective may be angled wrongly to see,but I don't understand why anyone would ask you to ban Screwd? Who the frig in their adult years needs to stop someone they don't know posting on the interwebz?

You need to think about the big picture. However I honestly feel that shop has passed.
This (and the other places) has always been about the people, the camaraderie, joining in, helping out.
But now we don't get new people and when we do they're soon put off by the constant bickering on here.
The main cause of that imo is screwd.

You may feel I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.

I'll fight for this place and run it until I'm the last one here.

That may come sooner than I'd hoped though

That just shows how sad and intolerant those few people are if that's true- and I'm not doubting you BTW

As I've said before ( probably the last time this situation came up ) I think thAT the forum would be a poorer place without Screwd , and he definitely doesn't make it unpleasant for me, quite the opposite in fact- he provides some balance IMO.
I definitely don't agree with everything he posts, but I do find a fair bit of it interesting or thought provoking, and it's piqued me enough in more than one instance to take a closer look and discover that some things that I'd previously taken as read, really aren't always as they appear at a casual glance.
And shock-horror, I've learned stuff that I didn't previously know

As the man says- if people don't like what he posts, they can ignore him.
Or maybe just don't go in in the current affairs threads

Yeah,I'll readily admit I don't have the full pic. I do understand you are in direct line for the ensuing aggro and you are a better man than me to put up with it,but I'm baffled why members would run to you wanting someone banned for expressing opinion. That's primary school age stuff. Do they do the same in their workplace if someone is of a contrary mind?

Maybe if Screwd is always the focus of the bickering,those doing the bickering also need to take a look at themselves as part of a holistic solution? Takes more than one to tango.

Anyway,none of this is a dig at you Weeksy,I like this place and appreciate the time and effort it takes to manage,so I'll move along and let things take their natural course.

Ooooh, I didn't know about frietsaus!! I first had mayo and chips when I went to Belgium with my BDad, I was about 6!! I've loved mayo on chips ever since, but maybe it was frietsaus and I need to go search the shops to see if they have it here
