Organised events only I reckon.

British society has become so undisciplined I can imagine in some areas its become a nightmare. Shop owners don't take any responsibility and will sell anything to anyone.

It's a sad affair, but times have changed.

I absolutely love fireworks.
Our current dog won't go for a walk on a night recently because he's shit scared of them though so it cuts both ways.

Mornings are fine on the park and last week or so I w as taking him into town as there were no fireworks there, plus there's plenty distractions.
Last few days and he's not getting far before he hears fireworks and wont carry on.

Daughters dog who won't go past a flapping binliner without cacking himself just trundles on regardless.

For those of you choosing "Leave it to the pros, disappoint the yoots" just remember that I was one of those pros in the UK & the US, & as such, was one of the most irresponsible idiots you would ever encounter around pyro...

The concussion from this broke the camera, it was the last pic it ever took :)

The mere act of just throwing my cigs on a table at a party was enough to empty a room in record time... altho tbf, about half the time their was something other than cigs in the packet :)

New Years Eve is Zurich is centred on Belle Vue / Sechseläutenplaz by the lake - at midnight the usual controlled Swiss are pissed out of their heads and let off fireworks with gay abandon.
It's a frightening time as wizz bangs, rockets and what appear to be mortars , singe you face.

It is scary time - so I am frimly with the leave it to the professionals camp
