Oh you missed that too did you?

I can see you really have your finger on the pulse...
I think the assassination attempt and that resulting photo and sleepy Joe calling Trump voters garbage, probably helped a few undecideds make the move to Trump. From what I've read replacing Dopey with Dopier didn't help either. Given Harris's past, why her?? Was they looking for the Obama effect?

Surprisingly graceful speech from Trump? But lets see how he is after a nights kip... :D

Gonna be a bit of an awkward call from Starmer when he does the customary congratulation call.

You said assassinated, numerous times.
I should be fair to you? Yeah right... :hmmm:

I have never said he would be assassinated. I said (more like intimated) they would try. I said it twice. A day out first time when they hit him in the head, next time they sent an assassin a week after I suggested they might try again. Not entirely certain Trump is safe yet, nor is Musk.

I suspect Musk will be wondering how safe all the WhiteHouse data is for the next two months. He is definitely the best man for the job to try and stop the slate being wiped clean.

The democrat party is not short of dirty tricks and they have two months left in office to play them out. Biden may yet see the 25th amendment in action so they can install the Harris puppet. Biden is obviously pissed off with the deep state for kicking him out of the election but having deliberately swapped him out so late in the game (as I suggested they would!) there might not be enough time left to make that viable. We'll see...

The thing to look out for is they'll deliberately show him up for what he is. Not rocket science either, just stick him in front of a camera on the world stage and switch off the teleprompter, then be all surprised about how "impaired" he "suddenly" is.

David Lammy then! :o

He then shows up here and meets with Starmer who then pulls the rug on farmers and devalues farmland. Coincidence? Should be, but who knows? I'd guess the concerns are this is pointing towards a big real estate deal/swindle? The fly in that ointment is there are other billionaires buying up farmland as well...
But they've been buying up farmland (in the UK) in order to dodge death duties* so, while they may get chance to buy more, the reason for doing it has gone away. Gates was more likely to lobby against the change.

I'm sure their accountants will find a way though...maybe we'll see 'Farming Trusts' set up or solar farms springing up on arable land etc.

The old adage 'buy land, they aren't making it any more' probably still applies too.

* subsidies were quite a thing too, especially with the bizarre arrangement where you could get a subsidy for NOT farming the land. :eh:
Round here Philip Day has been buying masses of land* and just growing pheasants for his shoots and maize (corn if yer a yank) for his biogas plant.
Then Edward Haughey** was buying off loads as well, or at least was til his helicopter flew into some igneous cumulus and between them they turned a shitload of productive land into pretty much dead farms.

*after his Edinburgh Woolen Mill went pop and he sold it then bought it back via his daughter for pennies on the pound, still had a lot of money for land mind.

They certainly have enough dirt on the Biden mafia to control him. Having been a career politician on a relatively meagre salary, he still manages to become a multimillionaire like the rest of the swamp. You wanna keep that, do as you're told.

Other options like Newsom for example or Shapiro (who was too smart to align himself with Kamala as her VP) cannot so easily be controlled and might form alliances against the Obama/Clinton cartel.

Trump played the McDonald's lie and the garbage comments beautifully. But yes those attempts on his life also backfired as did the incessant character assassination by the MSM which became so ridiculous, they ended up shooting themselves in the foot.

I really think the Rogan podcast had a huge effect with young men. The one with JD Vance was even better. The Joe Rogan podcast is more popular than the entire MSM added together (he earns more too, yes more than ABC, CNN, Fox added together!).

No idea why, but whenever I see Trump I think, 'Aah...Bisto'.

I'm struggling to think of a national leader, either present or in recent history, who has had such a ridiculous look about them. I honestly can't think of anybody who can out-weird the Trumpster.

So given Trump is pretty pro British, anyone excited or intrigued by the possible trade deals that could now come?

I imagine the UK will distance itself from the US and form closer ties with Europe.

America isn't ready for a non male president for at least 20 years, especially a laydeeee 'of color'
I think it is more the case that being "of colour" and female is not sufficient qualification by itself to be a President.

What else does Kamala have? Oh yeah, she is not Trump. Surely that's enough?

Gonna have to say no to that, thank fuck.
Hating Trump didn't make Harris more qualified. She lost because she's a blithering idiot. At least now she has a reason to avoid the media.
