Guy asks me 'what oil do I need'
I send a link to motul 10/30 fs 4l , told him to get 2 as his bike needs 4.2l, so he'll always use it. €85 delivered
Box of bits arrived
5 of these at €24 ea!!!!!!
Guy clearly has more money than sense.

Add 50% to the bill.
Or, the website he found didn't have the 4l bottles, only the 1l and he panicking because he thought he needed it "right now" and so the cost became the lesser priority.
More likely he couldn't be arsed to go to 2 different websites, so just ordered all the bits from 'onda

Saffron.

The most expensive spice in the world, yet tastes like it's gone off and gives everything a musty taste.

Some teachers

I know, it's my fault cos I'm not a French national and I don't have a total grip on the language.

However, they are getting just shy of 10 grand to put me through this course.

BUT FFS, turns out I've misunderstood the last major 'project' - which is also set out on the most bloody awful-to-use spreadsheet document I've ever seen (pretty sure the average ten year old could have made one more user friendly!)

Luckily one of the other tutors (who also could have made sure last week that I understood what he said when the whole class was talking at the same time) was willing to come and spend some time this evening sat in the reception area of the hotel I'm at and explain things to me.

Ok, he said it's not necessary to do all 6 parts, and I've clarified with some fellow students who said, yes, he did say that on Thursday but the main tutor said it's better to do all 6 (WTF didn't any of them explain to me when I said I didn't understand and couldn't do it!)

But due to him taking the time to come and explain it to me and help me understand the process better, I now think I can do it (maybe not all 6 but I'll give it a go) and give the examiners enough to quiz me on next week.

So much stress to go through for something that really shouldn't be that bad, but lack of comms in this course has been a really big thing   (Ok, some of it is me not understanding/hearing things, even tho I was sure I hadn't missed anything the main tutor had said )

Hey ho - a week and a day to go, plus a highway code retake!!

Driving to Dyfi and coming down to a junction, we hear *dunk *dunk *dunk *dunk.
Thought it was something flapping about in van, but as we go round the corner it's still there.

We stop for a look.

We spend a few mins finding the spare wheel, then a few more on YouTube learning how to get it off.

The 15 mins with the jack getting it up and replaced.

Drive 10 miles and dropped into a tyre place in Bridgenorth and get a new tyre on

6 month old Car has chip in windscreen, windscreen man turns up to repair it, spots another one as well. Repairs first, second one cracks whilst repairing it. New windscreen + camera calibration required🤬😡.

Fecking thing is doomed, super thin paint that marks as soon as you look at it and 3 weeks ago someone at work dropped something out of his van into the side door gouging the paint and putting a tiny dent in it.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

I sympathise. I remember when my Sister and B-i-L bought a brand new car and him saying never again as you notice every mark and are so nervous of parking it anywhere etc.

My dog can be a bit of a twat with strangers, hence she wears a big yellow coat with the words, 'Please do not pet - anxious dog' emblazoned on both sides.

Why then, did some woman come up behind me, stroke said dog on her back, reading the coat, carry on stroking the dog and quipping that she would wear one if they did them for humans..?
