When I was working in Belfast there were engineering firms such as Mackies, where you had to clock out on any toilet break. If you made a habit of lengthy bog visits, you had your wages docked accordingly.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
A week or so ago a fellow student asked me to explain FUF (it shows by my name on Whats App it seems!! LOL)
Anyway - took a bit of translating! Someone else asked me today and with that the first went "oh - regardes" - he'd found a pic of a fairy definitely a FUF!!

Re: utterly random picture thread.
I must say i have NEVER took disks in as bad condition off a car before. I would not be surprised if these were the originals from 2011. The first picture of the broken disk was taken about the same time when i noticed i was sent the wrong disks so job was abandoned until today. Skived work to drive into Edinburgh and get the right disks. Back under the car to fit new drive shafts, disks and pads. It was my birthday today as well. How else would you want to spend it

Re: utterly random picture thread.
We had a fwd 1500 triumph in regularly ( company car, bosses daughter ithink, quite scrummy) . She complained about a bit of a squeak one day. The o/s disc was less than a 32nd of an inch thick...it broke as we took the caliper off. This on a caaar that was serviced regularly by us.
She needed rear shocks one day, which the tops off were in the boot. It appeared to be her wardrobe/ laundry basket. A very red face when she popped in to see how we were doing.
