One guy had to stand in a pit that was parallel to the long narrow dipping tank, to make sure the sheep were well-dunked. He wore a full-length oilskin overcoat back to front, so the buttons were at the back.
One of my contemporaries got that chronic fatigue thing that they blame on organophosphates.

More election fraud, as predicted and expected.

Russian actors were behind a viral video falsely showing mail-in ballots for Donald Trump being destroyed in the swing state of Pennsylvania, US officials said on Friday, amid heightened alert over foreign influence operations targeting the upcoming election.
The video, which garnered millions of views on platforms such as the Elon Musk-owned X, purports to show a man sorting through mail-in ballots from the state’s Bucks county and ripping up those cast for the former president.

If I was ripping up votes I'd definitely let someone film me doing it.

The left leaning media refuses to report on it since it was declared genuine. I know people who still think it's fake in spite of the FBI stating it's not.

And some people still believe the Russian interference hoax. Although calling it a hoax downplays its importance somewhat. Makes it sound like a prank rather than fraud.Horse wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 1:17 pmOver two years ago, yet some people are still banging on about it being covered up?Count Steer wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 11:44 amBlimey! Given the history of alleged Russian interference in the US by the Democrats, it might just turn out to be genuine... a year after the election.Horse wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 9:16 pm Russian actors were behind a viral video falsely showing mail-in ballots for Donald Trump being destroyed in the swing state of Pennsylvania, US officials said on Friday, amid heightened alert over foreign influence operations targeting the upcoming election.

Adam Schiff's endless fucking bullshit about Russian collusion for years: Didn't actually happen & was traced back to Hilary Clinton.

LOL. If Team Trump redirected the effort they put into pitch rolling for the 'it was stolen' campaign into the actual campaign they'd be 5% up in the polls.

No smoking gun regarding Joe Biden, just his son.It claimed that a laptop, abandoned in a repair shop by Hunter Biden, contained emails which included details of Hunter introducing a Ukrainian energy tycoon to his father and arranging a meeting. There is no record on Mr Biden's schedule that such a meeting ever took place.
Critically, it fed into long-running unproven allegations about corruption on Joe Biden's part to ensure his son's business success in Ukraine.
Chain of custody fuck up, , perhaps rendering it inadmissible in legal proceedings.More than a year after the story appeared, the Washington Post conducted its own analysis and concluded the laptop and some emails were likely to be authentic - but the majority of data could not be verified due to "sloppy handling of the data".
Meanwhile, how many of Trump's inner circle have either stated his unfit to serve or have been prosecuted and found guilty of various criminal acts? Nobel prize winning economists, 23 of 'em, have come out in favor of Harris' economic plans and shot down Trump's, while 82 laureates warn of Trump's threat to science and the environment. Trump's latest brainstorm is to suggest doing away with the federal income tax and filling the gap with tariffs. Perhaps this explains, to some degree how he's been involved in so many failed businesses and bankruptcies.
Re: This time next year, President Trump moves back into the Whitehouse...
It is a vaccine. It stimulates lymphocytes to produce specific antibodies for a given pathogen. The tech behind it includes some that goes back decades - if my memory is correct the early 1960s. More recent tech comes from the more recent SARS outbreak from 2003. Historically, vaccines have used whole killed agents or attenuated live agents to stimulate antibody production. COVID vaccines use spike proteins from the surface of the viral particles to stimulate an immune response. Corona viruses have a tendency to mutate, changing those surface proteins. That is the reason for the need for new vaccines over time. The testing required is reduced as the ability to develop antibodies is well understood and the side effects tend to be similar across the spectrum as far as the vaccines for related viruses are concerned.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 4:44 pm I was wondering if I'd missed something here and that the Covid Vaccine(s) are not vaccines because there's some esoteric distinction and technically they're actually XXX.
Er...not that I can see. Maybe Deftrap knows some other terminology? I get the idea they don't work forever, but that's true of loads of vaccines we give. Flu and Tetanus spring to mind. And whatever it is I pay to have my cats jabbed with every year (they've also been microchipped )
I was almost disappointed but not surprised when the only reference I could find to such a concept was....
https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2 ... s-account/
There's a new canine influenza vaccine that uses entirely new tech that eliminates the need for adjuvants or heavy loads of antigen or whole virus particles. It targets dendritic cells and has them produce copies of a gene of interest for a limited period of time - so there's enough antigen present for lymphocytes to produce pathogen specific antibodies.

Yeah people seem to forget that Mueller said there was significant Russian interference in the 2016 election. It all got lost in the "No collusion" sound bite and the laptop story.
Meanwhile the actual interference carries on.
And now we get social media stories of people tearing up votes. If you were gonna rig it that way why would you tear them up? Why not just count them...or burn them...or lose them. Tearing them up just makes it obvious something is afoot.
I'm sure none of these things are related.

People are shit at keeping secrets.
People are shit at making stuff up.
The 'evidence' so far is as plausible as sightings of little green men, and delivered by the sort of peopel you'd expect to be into that sort of thing.

I wasn't aware that she had any economic plans, apart from:
Giving first time home buyers $25,000. Well that's not going to increase the price of houses, is it?
Giving black men $20,000 loans that they don't have to pay back. Like that's not going to get shot down as racist AND sexist.
Going after price gauging (she probably meant gouging, but whatever) big corporations. It's always popular going after big corporations and now she can blame them for the inflation she and Sleepy Creepy Joe caused.
Disclaimer: I'm not a Nobel winning economist but even I can see the flaws in those policies.
