I had a mate who did that. Went from his usual Pompey/Chav accent to sounding like pukka RP. If he was talking to a prospective customer (he was a carpet fitter) he was all RP, all the time.. unless it was one of the travelers who were his regular clients, in which case he did his best pikey accent. It was hilarious being in the same room as he went through 2 or 3 accents in as many sentences when he answered a call.

If I called, it was RP until he realized it was me then it reverted to Pompey/Chav. Used to get the piss ripped mercilessly :)

Two weeks to the election & Biden just called for Trump to be locked up.... (but remember, it's not political)

The cheats are in already. Multiple states are reporting the voting machines are allegedly "broken" and "just give us your ballot and we'll count it later."

It's a scanner for fucks sake. I mean, sometimes technology can fail but not all of them, all at the same time....

Gonna need some kind of evidence otherwise this all sounds a bit Alex Jones.
Where's it being reported?

Multiple reports on X so just a bunch of nominally disparate people reporting the same thing. It is a bit "no smoke without fire" but there seems to be a trend for machines to inexplicably stop working. Meanwhile, a Trump landslide seems to be on the cards due to overwhelming early voting for the Republican party.

So if the democrat plan was to cheat their way in again, they are going to have to cheat big time. All those doubters who didn't believe it last time, will be able to see it for themselves this time.

You don't need evidence. Someone posts up on somewhere like Gab that 'we need to build the story' a few 'influencers' say the same on their various platforms and a willing army of keyboard jockeys get out there and post 'reports' on Twitter/X.....and RTTL. It's just coordinated campaigning in the modern day. No facts need to be disturbed from their slumbers when you have a 'fact creation' team available.

It could be that yes. Doesn't look that way from all the videos I've seen though.

Typical Trumpian chaos and confusion. Start a rumour, let the easily led greedily grab onto it and repeat it. That there's nothing in the MSM only reinforces it amongst the gullible because the media's all fibbers right,?

I would suspect that it’s not them starting it, more likely to be coming from outside the US borders.

Fact checking? Already done, for at least one instance.

www.wbtv.com/2024/10/21/fact-check-kann ... pervision/

CLAIM: Voting machines in Kannapolis stopped working. Ballots were gathered to be counted later.

Determination: The basic claims in the video are true, but missing some very important context. One machine at the downtown Kannapolis train station did go down for a few hours, but the county had a plan for these types of occurrences and poll workers carried it out. The ballots were secured in a locked box where they were placed by the voters until the machine could be repaired and a team of poll workers from both major political parties put the ballots back through the counting machine.

Source: Carol Soles, Director of the Cabarrus County Board of Elections.

Details: In the video, a voter claims that ballots were being collected due to non-functioning scanning machines, sparking concerns about the integrity of the voting process.

Cabarrus County Board of Elections Director, Carol Soles confirmed that the ballot scanning machine, known as the DS 200, did indeed stop working temporarily.

However, she emphasized that such occurrences are anticipated, and they have established backup procedures in place.

“There’s an emergency bin within that same piece of equipment,” Soles explained, ensuring that ballots remained secure and did not leave the building during the outage.

According to Soles, the voters themselves place the ballots in the “emergency bin” where they remain locked and under supervision until a team of bipartisan poll workers can take them out and scan them into the counting machine.

Soles reassured voters that their ballots were safe and securely handled throughout the process, stating, “We do voter history each day... to ensure the number of ballots counted matches the number of applications to vote.”

She said that if there had been any change in the number of ballots, it would have immediately signaled an issue.

Only in your own mind.

On X there are multiple reports (especially Illinois) that voting machines are broken. If you want to spin that into some made up conspiracy theory knock yourself out. I'm just saying what I have seen online.

PS Where does that information come from? Links?

PPS Some early voting data. Doesn't quite chime with the 'landslide'. It doesn't actually tell you who they voted for but you wouldn't expect them to.

If that's true, then Republicans are complicit in voter fraud!

@ Me?

I didn't spin anything, simply posted (in full :D ) a news article.

You make the claims, perhaps you could support them with something more than "X says".

Well, the MSM do have form. E.g. they didn't report the Hunter Biden laptop story accurately (or at all). they repeated the governments' lies about the "vaccine" being "safe and effective". Why would the "gullible" trust them again? Once bitten...

<Sigh> We've been through this. What, EVERY government decided to collude to risk the health of their population and the 'global MSM' (who obviously all have the same agenda despite their disparate leanings) went with it? It's fantasy. The vaccines were tested and were effective - prove me wrong. Have a think about how vaccines work before waxing lyrical about efficacy. Also have a think about ANY medicines listed side effects before getting too much into what you think is safety. That any vaccine at all became available so widely and so quickly is some sort of miracle and actually a triumph of cooperation and scientific expertise. This is a public safety issue, we really want our media to report every tin-pot rumour as a 'maybe'?

If you're going to pin accusations of censorship on the MSM based upon ludicrous analysis of their handling of COVID vaccine reporting, then is it any wonder that similar accusations of reporting about Biden's laptop are shoved into the 'similar nonsense ' category.? It's straightforward boy who cried wolf stuff. Pick your scandals with care.

This is way less nefarious than it sounds IMO.

Think about how a non-electronic ballot works. You put your slip into a locked bin, which someone then opens at a later date and counts all the votes.

What's happening here ^ is exactly the same thing, except someone is opening the box later and feeding the paper ballots into a machine which counts them. If anything that sounds LESS likely to be dodgy than manually counting them to me.
