Was there in early September. I've always liked Aberystwyth but this summer it's turned into the Hotel California... they've buggered about with the town centre traffic system - it's 'COVID-friendly' - so that once you're in, it's almost impossible to find your way out again.

Amazing to be able to see Broadway too. Normally the views are completely obscured by Japanese tourists.

I usually go in and out via the South Road/A4120 and down to the bottom of South Marine Terrace missing out most of the bottlenecks. It's a bit of a sun trap at the bottom of the bay and there's a newish coffee shop that does a decent brew. Often see porpoises from there too.

Edit - quite a bit of beach on the road down there in July

Where's the river scene, and the bridge out of interest? The bridge isn't over the River Wye by any chance?

The gorge is in Elan Valley and I didnt know it had a gorge either until July, another shot below (sorry for the rubbish quality). Nearly everything in both pictures is normally under the waterline. The suspension bridge was Erwood.
