Trigger finger

Post by Sadlonelygit »

Been working on a few recalcitrant pull start motors lately. Couple of weeks ago had a stiff finger, now tendon properly clicking and finger stiff to move.
Joys of old age eh!

I've got dupuytren's contracture, the ring finger on my left hand is now well past 90 degrees of bend and should be operated on (again) in a couple of months time. The middle finger on my right hand has a significant bend but not enough that it impedes daily use. Both hands are cupped, but again not too bad. I've also got the start of it on my feet. I'm not even that old, I'm 61.

I did alright until my late 50s than fall apart. two knees replaced and hips on their way out too. Late onset asthma looks like its escalated itself to COPD. Struggling to shift the weight gained due to the aforementioned. As my old Nan said, you dont just a get a bus pass when you get older! :D

I have two fingers on the right hand that lock in a clenched position. I need to pull them back out what can be bloody sore. I blame using petrol strimmer's and the likes.

My index and middle finger have RSI, and the index finger has reduced movement, from extensive mouse use.

So highly likely.
