After his 4 wins in Moto3, I did expect a bit better in WSS.

He was still racing at one of the highest levels this season, and as anyone who really knows anything about it knows, the higher you go the more competitive it is, and it takes more than "just" a good rider to be able to be consistently finishing near the front...
Apparently the WRP team has been shambolic, and rumours are that this weekend all the staff were either sacked or walked out leaving the riders to fend for themselves.

Putting as positive a spin on it as I think you can, he's had a few decent results this year and outperformed his teammate, I think his days at world championship level may well be numbered now, but I hope that he manages to sort himself a ride with a decent team next year, whatever he ends up riding

A competitive bike is soooo important, it's not like you can turn up and even be in the ball game on a donkey. Shame for him and let's see if he can get a decent bike even if he has to drop levels
