Yes. The seat unit is far too long by todays standards! Looks odd indeed!

Underneath all that ridiculous red and chrome bling, there's actually an interesting motorcycle. Not sure what the steering damper adjacent to the swingarm is all about - perhaps to control the hinge in the frame at that point?

Yes, that will easily last 10 or 20 miles. Comfortably sufficient for the lifetime of that machine as it is pushed from show to show. Maybe it helps when getting it on and off the trailer...mangocrazy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 9:14 am Underneath all that ridiculous red and chrome bling, there's actually an interesting motorcycle. I am not sure having it exposed like that just beside the back wheel is too clever either.
Spray and shit will destroy it soon, hopefully before a flapping pair of jeans gets caught up in it.

Air bag suspension, probably there to prevent it suddenly slamming to the ground when pressure is released.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 9:14 am Not sure what the steering damper adjacent to the swingarm is all about - perhaps to control the hinge in the frame at that point?

"Made in China" and "motorcycle" should get your spidey senses twitching.
