soooooo jealous. Coming up on 2 weeks without sitting on a bike, indoor or outdoor, which is pretty much unthinkable for me. I'm struggling, but simply not an option. I may try a very very gentle Eeb ride.

Torrential rain and wind stopped any plans for a pedal this morning, so took the opportunity to nip over to JE James in Chesterfield to find a new open face helmet as I've given up on convincing myself that I've got a POC shaped head and need to find a new lid from a different manufacturer.

They had this upstairs....

A nighttime pedal in the peaks this evening with @porter_jamie

Paused at Hope Cross...

...to smoke a superb monte cristo number 4...

...and a nip of Laphroaig from the trusty hip flask.

Before rattling back down for a swift pint in Hope.

Not been out for months for fun, only a few work commutes.
But this week I am on holidays got 2 in so far

Took the lad over Epsom common, found mud and fun. He sits in front of me, loves it.

So he loves his balance bike 12in
He can peddle a 14inch bike, but it’s slightly too high, he struggles to push off (I’ve got a new seat and it’s as low as it can go)

He’d get 10 mins into a ride and want to go home 😂😂😂
He’s getting there
