You have to play the hand you've got. If she'd said 'he's senile' he'd hardly have endorsed her when he did fall on his sword. Probably have backed Newsom. Pretty well played I'd say.
I'd say she's not as dim as the other candidate's fanbois try and make out and her previous career path indicates she can be pretty clinical.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.
Or, at least, let it get slightly warmer.

I don't even know if this has become a "conspiracy theory". I do recall a suspicious number of cinemas having problems with AC whenever a particular film was being screened, the one regarding child trafficking. As for being difficult to mess with, it's just a simple measure of switching it off isn't it.
But yeah, I'm not saying it's one sided, it's an easy trick to pull if you are being forced to host an event you don't agree with.

When I used to get visits from the SMT, in the winter I'd always have the windows open so they don't stay long! It works really well it must be said!Screwdriver wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 9:58 pm I don't even know if this has become a "conspiracy theory". She repeated that during the interview on Fox yesterday. It was supposed to be a 1 hour live/unedited interview, it went so badly her handlers stopped it after 20 minutes.
Listening to that 20 minutes leads one to think it was not only a presidential campaign ending interview, it was a career ending interview. I can't begin to imagine how much worse it would have been had it gone for the entire hour.

I've stated several times over the past 3 or 4 elections that the US always elects an even bigger fucking idiot than the previous fucking idiot, so she should win by a landslide*. If Trump won, it would reverse this trend by one fucking idiot.
*All the pollsters are claiming it's too close to call, so they cab all say "we didn't see that coming" no matter who wins. The polls have been worthless since Trump beat Clinton, no idea why the fuck any of these people still have a job.

Well, assuming it's now too late to murder their opposition, the "Democratic" election interference engine will be redlined. They have nothing to lose by going "all in" and using the most outrageous and obvious methods to cheat the system, typically during the count. Bit like they did last time except now we know what they're doing it will be easier to prove.
So if Kamala "wins" due to an extraordinary turnout of 110% of the population (!), there will be mayhem.

Seems that Donald is showing his usual understated good taste, and possibly dabbling in counterfeits too.

Dodgy watches? Pah. Small beer. Classy Lord Elon brings the philanthropic billionaire's approach to buying election victories. A $1M/day raffle with free tickets. Only in America eh?

I know Musk is not a candidate, he's a private individual with his own money etc. etc.
But I dunno, it doesn't feel like that should be legal

It probably isn't in most places!Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 1:31 pm I know Musk is not a candidate, he's a private individual with his own money etc. etc.

(I'd be raising an eyebrow and coughing politely if I was in charge of the $billions of US taxpayers money that get shovelled into SpaceX - for example).

I also can't work out if he's actually wearing that gold hat or if it's 'shopped on.

It would seem that Musks raffle is probably illegal.

Kamala Harris claims to have worked at McDonalds. McDonalds says she never worked at McDonalds. So how's this for epic trolling by The Donald?

Re: This time next year, President Trump moves back into the Whitehouse...
Linky to that statement from the company?
New York Times says:
But former President Donald J. Trump has repeatedly accused her of inventing it. Lacking a shred of proof, he has charged that she never actually worked under the golden arches
And
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/fact ... 105207007/
But there is no evidence McDonald's has weighed in on the credibility of Harris' statement. There are no credible news reports about the restaurant chain making a statement about Harris, and nothing resembling the statement appears on the chain's social media accounts or website.
Even bland can be a type of character
