Just watched bike racing for the first time in many years...
I was never into Moto GP and the last time I watched it Rossi was dominating on a Honda but I remember him moving to Yamaha. I just put Moto GP on and only recognised one name, Marquez! The thing that did stand out was the bikes. They look bigger? Or at least wider with all the scaffolding and wings on them?
The racing and era I liked was WSB when you had names like Foggy, Slight, Bayliss Corser etc. I loved the 2 Sunday races. That was the golden era of bike racing for me!

Ducati with Gigi Dall'lgna has stolen a march on the other manufacturers with aerodynamics. Aero is the prime reason Honda and Yamaha are struggling. Ride height devices etc run in conjunction with the aero and in 27 the RH devices will be disallowed, plus the engines will be smaller in a bid to slow the 300bhp + bikes down. I remember how that went the last time.
Basically,if you are not on a Ducati you have little chance of being on the podium, never mind a championship contender.
Racing is racing and there's always entertainment to be had watching.

Might give it a go. Last time I watched BSB it was all about the rivalry between Walker and Hodgson!

I've been gutted for a few years that I haven't been able to watch it here - a mate sponsors a couple of riders in a supporting race and another mate races in the BMW class. So, ok, supporting races but I'd still like to watch those and the BSB!
(Some friends have told me the there's a way, so just waiting to find out if will be moving then I'll sort it for next season )

Get a vpn, go to a server in Austria, then watch on Servus TV. All official with the official English commentatries. MotoGP and WSB shown live, all of the 24 hour Endurance races too.

I've only made that work once
I've since decided that my French is better than my Austrian and gone back to watching MotoGP in French and missing everything else
