The Lord of the Rings (Extended Editions) - Watched the whole lot over 2 days this weekend. Still the most perfect trilogy ever put to film. It still looks amazing, bar a couple of dodgy composite effects. And all 3 probably cost less than one season of that Rings of Power crap.

I did have to point out to Mrs M that on 07/12/2041 the Geeks nuke the fleet base on Phobos into oblivion along with blowing the dome on Olympus Mons before moving onto Earth and it was only Jupe’s bad feeling that made him hide the V.C’s ship on the Dime (Diemos) that saved them.

Stumbled across this one a couple of weeks ago on a long plane journey and thought, great, this looks right up my street, but if I'd watched the trailer first, it would have told me all I needed to know really and I could have watched something decent instead :)

It is without doubt the most corny, naff, formulaic pile of stinking fromage I've seen in many years, so much so that it took me three sittings to finish it , even though it's only 90 mins or so :o

Having said that, it's so bad it's almost worth a watch for the cringes- I challenge you all to find a cheesier film! :D

I watched the first episode last night. I doubt I'll watch the others.

I've noticed a bit of a lazy trend among screen writers, in that series are set 20 or 30 years back then but overlaid with period music, almost as if the viewer will keep saying, 'Ooooh. Remember this one?' or 'Haven't heard that tune for years' and somehow forget they are watching a second rate production with poor acting and cliched plots.

Bit late to the party, but watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once the other night.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6710474/

An intriguing film, funny in parts, downright weird in others, but a touch of brilliance throughout.

(Never seen a policeman being beaten up with two large, rubber dildos in screen before....)

Started watching Joan last night. Seems I'm the only one that isn't getting on with it, as the rest of my lot are well into it, but its just not getting hold of me?

Apples Never Fall.
We really got into this 7 parter. Loads of unseen twists and turns and cleverly written.

But the ending was shit. Like Bobby Ewing in the shower.
We wasted 7 hours :(
