Pffft. I've sat on Margate beach as a kid in worse than that. All you need is a strategically placed windbreak and to eat your fish paste sandwiches under the blanket.

Yeah, in 'Skeggie' terms that's just 'a bit fresh'.

It got me wondering about the redistribution of sewage back onto land from the sea though which led me to this gem:

'A study has revealed the ten ‘dirtiest’ beaches across the UK with sites in Bradford, Blackpool and North Somerset topping the chart.'

Bradford???

(Turns out there's a shingle 'swimming beach' on the River Ilkley somewhere near Bradford. Who knew?).

There's a beach in Newport Pagnell too. Surfing is crap but the likelihood of shark attack is low.

Yeah, I think they got their geographic knickers in a twist. They mean the Wharfe at Cromwheel, Ilkley.

Super clean but frequently contains quite a lot of things you really don't want to swim in?

One Sheriffs Dept had a specially built structure that could withstand a hurricane to house vehicles & boats etc used for rescue work. It got flattened by a tornado & collapsed on all the rescue equipment & vehicles...

Seems not much has actually happened here despite the forecasts. This was clearly fake news put out by the Govt to pursue its climate change agenda! :x

You ungrateful wretch! Our glorious leaders spend £billions engineering not-hurricanes and you complain you're in a not-hurricane because social media - aka the MSM controlled BBC weather app - said there will be hurricanes.
