Lost a cat.

Last seen around 14:00, by 17:00 he should have been nagging me for food, but the cat flap and the (French) house have remained silent.

Been up on the roof terrace, whistled him and ding-dinged his food bowl (normally brings him at the gallop in seconds), but nothing.

Little bugger...

Have you checked the garage - if you've been working on the Lancia?

The garage is basically part of the house (it's level zero on one side of the house), and his cat flap is in the garage door. He's recently taken to sleeping on the Falco's tank bag.

But not tonight.

He finally returned at 6:30 this morning almost pathetically happy to be back. At least he wasn't gone for six days, like he was a few years back. I'd resigned myself to never seeing him again after 4 or 5 days absence

Got my assistance and warranty renewal quote through from Land Rover. It's gone up by £25. :crazy: I'll have had it 2 years on the 11th of next month and have only covered 3048 miles. Its costs so far are;

2 years of warranty £2005
2 years road VEL £1200
1 service £865
Insurance £1800(ish)

Insurance is on a multicar policy so don't remember individual costs, but I think it was c£600 the first year and that doubled the 2nd! I do love the car, but it's a shiny penny to keep owning it for sure... :think:

I'm so glad that I'm not afflicted with a passion for owning such things. Four wheeled money pit that just depreciate while you watch it. Each to their own.

Not today but late yesterday. I've finally seen the mythical stranded vehicle as advertised on so many motorway warning signs.

Seriously though, why is the signage just about universally rubbish?
