Motegi Motogp

Post by Skub »

This weekend's action is at the Twin Ring in Japan.

First free practice has been hit by rain,so lots of blah, blah and not much to see at times.

I think the weather is to be unsettled,so the usual predictions may not apply.

In Moto3 David Alonso can possibly wrap up the title. He's been a dominant force.

Marc Crashquez goes well here,so maybe fireworks there.

I've just finished watching timed practice - still a bit all over the place but maybe that's down to the limited running in P1.

Nakagami looked close to making it into the top ten in the closing stages. Would have been nice, I'm sentimental like that.

Deflated my balloon.

Getting closer, though. Only going to get more fun to watch.

The lad is so good we forget he's a rookie. His day is coming for sure.

Yep, and one who looked comfortable (ok, he fell) ahead of all those Dukes.

That would be my only concern for him next year. The KTM isn't as good as a Ducati at every track,so Pedro will be making the difference and that could be bad for his health.

Great sprint race. But on the start, it appereared that they all had cut rear slicks. Didn't know that was allowed.

Finished watching the MotoGP race an hour or so ago - nearly fell back asleep after the first five laps, I have to admit.

Might have been the radial mould marks that you saw?

I watched the first couple of laps, saw Acosta fall as I fast forwarded, less that 10 minutes for the whole thing. Not the most interesting racing.
