I’m selling my Stihl MS 650 saw without chain and bar for £350, with chain and bar I could get £500 all day long but thought I’d price is to sell as they say and I’ve been inundated with replies from folk who know the score but just got this one which sums up how fucking retarded folk can be, beggars belief these fucking idiots.

I had a 170 and it sure as shit isn't a MS650.
Clamshell design crankcase with horizontal split as opposed to a vertically split crankcase which means amongst masses of other differences (size and power amongst them) ithe MS650 is a far more expensive construction designed to be more reliable, better to work on and pro grade instead of the homeowner grade 170.

I use one occasionally but treat with utmost respect and use PPE, unlike FiL who regularly used to use one in conjunction with a very shonky log horse, trainers, shorts and no eye protection......eek!

Eye protection and boots is a given for chainsaw use, but I doubt if many of us home-jobbers have invested in the proper kit. Safety first, keep your wits about you, make sure the missus has been primed not to sneak up behind you. TBH I'm just as nervous about using my angle grinder.
