Motocross bike recommendation
Can anyone recommend cheap motocross bikes for an adult to get started on? Anything that can handle novice session at open days at wildtracks would be suitable. I don’t know anything about mx bikes so am looking for some recommendations to search eBay and fb market place. Thanks.

Re: Motocross bike recommendation
MotoX bikes aren't usually road legal.
An enduro bike might be more versatile.

It doesn’t need to be road legal. I already have a 690 enduro. I just want to load it in the van, take it to the venue and ride.

This kicked off the question by the way...
I didn't know that you could do track days at motocross days and this place is 40 minutes from where we're moving to next week.

Re: Motocross bike recommendation
I'd go with a Japanese 4-stroke 250 (so Honda or Kawasaki) and, obviously depending on condition etc, happily buy one up to, say, 15 years old or so.

Re: Motocross bike recommendation
Any 250 4 stroke, Japanese are more reliable, but KTMs have a decent reputation these days, but remember they're competition bikes and will have been used hard.
