Or 21 for boys and 18 for girls as boys mature slower? The whole 'age of consent' thing seems to be a case of numbers being plucked randomly and then applied with a moral and legal rod of iron.

Or even set a minimum age difference between participants up to a certain age for the youngest one in the equation to minimise the predation of older men/women on, say, anyone of school age. Got to be a lower boundary though I'd say.

My SIL, in her 60s, would definitely do that even now (when she's had one of her biftas orf due to the C) and she'd expect you to be thrilled about it.
But we've gone the full circle from a 70s sort-of-weirdly-acceptable Benny Hill society to one where that sort of think might be considered Girl Power I suppose.
