Dyfi/Antur or Antur/Dyfi 31st Oct/1st Nov

Post by weeksy »

After racing is over it'll be straight into winter testing of course.

It's half-term that week so we're hitting Antur/Dyfi at the end of the week.

Don't mind which way around we play it but we'll be doing hotel in the middle either in Porthmadog or Oswestry

Anyone else ?

Bpw on the 26th for me😁
Be interested to hear what you think regarding the condition of Dyfi, I noticed last week that super swooper had got some big ruts/breaking bumps formed since I was last there and the drop on racetrack (after the one you mostly roll down at the start of the woods) had got eroded and seemed substantially bigger than I remembered..they were doing a lot of work on original dh so by the time you go it could look different again.

It seems we're doing Dyfi both days. I'm not sure yet whether I'll take the Eeb for local riding or whether I'll book Dyfi for myself.

What's putting you off riding Dyfi?

Nothing really other than expense and solo riding. I've ridden it 4 times now and whilst it's ok, it's still £50 extra for a day riding on my own. I arguably enjoy a little day out in the woods just as much for £0

I guess it's a bit hard for me at times, so negates some of the fun.

I've heard some of the local stuff is good fun, so could be a cool day exploring...
