Here's to it being as enjoyable as the last one - Ducati data harvesting might make things a bit less interesting, hope not.

Results from timed practice. Quartararo got the Yamaha up to 5th this time! The FTY Aprilias have gone well, too. Also impressed with how far up Zarco is managing to drag his Honda.

Considering almost all were doing qualifying times the sprint was an absolute knife edge of win or bin. Muchly enjoyed it & looking forward to tomorrow

amazingly neither 1.
suppose relegating a local boy would have been seen as bad form.
saw the post race back room of the podium boys and MM description was 'puta', which sums it up nicely

MM thought that Enea's move on Jorge was over the limit. Which for Marc is saying something...

Being nice to Bastianini,it was a hard move, others have been penalised for less. Not being nice to him,he rode Martin off the track.

I'm in favour of less interference from the rulemakers, but this was borderline and will be seen by many as showing a lack of consistency on the part of the stewards.

Martin said after the race words to the effect that 'OK so that's how it will be in future, if that's regarded as acceptable'. I appreciate the stewards have a difficult job, but they do need to keep a lid on borderline behaviour.

Interesting to see how the new regime will treat incidents like this next year, when Simon Crafar becomes Head Boy...

It was a bit rich by Bastianini.
