Re: Panigale
Watched a couple of, well one and a half, reviews on YT - all the other updates & improvements aside the electronic assistance it gives you really sticks out. Particularly its ability to apply the rear brake for you, completely autonomously. You never even touch the rear brake pedal. Neevesy also mentioned that you can essentially hold the throttle open & just turn in, the bike sorts it all out.
I assume I'm just getting old but I really don't see the point.

Re: Panigale
I'd really hate that. I've done a few trackdays at Portimao and Jerez recently.ChrisW wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:50 pm Watched a couple of, well one and a half, reviews on YT - all the other updates & improvements aside the electronic assistance it gives you really sticks out. Folk bragging about W.O.T. and lap times.
My times were slower, but I love exiting corners with 200 gee gees on tap and I'm in charge of throttle.
Lap times mean fuck all.
I'd love a camera in my lid to see my smile

I can't work out if "Motor Werx" is deliberate, or just a continuation of their terrible writing skills.

Uglier than the system it replaces in my eyes.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 5:56 pm Never fear, for a mere £7,776.00 you can upgrade to the much more aesthetically pleasing full Akrapovic titanium exhaust system...

Reads like it is AI generated. Who gives a f*** about the bore of the engine?Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 7:13 pm I can't work out if "Motor Werx" is deliberate, or just a continuation of their terrible writing skills.

Re: Panigale
It was one of their sales pitches when selling the 1299, all they went on about was the bore size and the size of the pistons, they are a fair size. Thats the shite I had to listen to when I bought mine.
