Mooching round Lyme Regis this AM, meeting with friends this PM and evening, and partying tomorrow.

Sunday is driving north.

There's a bakery place on one of the little back streets that's quite good. Used to be really good, churning out breakfast stuff in the morning, plus bread for sandwiches at lunchtime along with huge scones with communal pots of jam and cream to help yourself from. The model has changed a bit (probs post-covid) but the food is still good.

If only I could remember the name and location, without which, this recommendation is fairly fecking useless.

Thanks, I'm a full member of the bin spotters club, there's a lot of ordinary boring bins out there but occasionally I get a pic of a round one with a green slow drop lid that makes all the effort cataloguing them worthwhile.

As it's Saturday I shouldn't really be replying to this, but...

Started on the creepingly anxious 'filling of the van' ready to head to the moneypit in France next week. Today saw me buying and loading 3 x 25kg bags of Mapei '3240' screed. They've been secured to the bike bar that runs behind the seats and stops bikes (and bags of screed) joining me (and the cat) in the front if I need to panic brake.

The cat will probably exercise his claws on the bags, knowing my luck.

Next up tomorrow or day after, power tools, hand tools, copper pipe, lengths of timber and boxes containing a million and one things I really, really need in France.
