19 for me, I've never tried to ride a bike with a lock on, or if I have I've forgotten that I've done it.

When I was 17, my dad towed me on my GT185 behind his car for 2 miles.
He had sense to "tie" the rope under my right hand on throttle

Never waved at a camera and can't remember running out of fuel, but it's very possible in the old days. 18 maybe.
