Friday thread... the end of the world is nigh
It's a super storm here with thunder and lightening a plenty !!!
Fri. WFH and then off to @Tricky wedding beers and banter
Sat. Drive to FoD (Hopefully) for practice laps for the boy.
Sun. Race day for the boy, assuming there's a track left by then !

Recovering after a short break away and wondering if I can take my own bed next time.

Going to a working windmill here in MK for one of their open days.
If the weather forecast is accurate they're gonna be making a lot of flour.

Ride down to Folkestone for the 9pm train to Dover.
It's nice and sunny here, but looks awful down south on the weather map. Hoping to miss most of it as I'll be setting off around 2pm.

Today: WFH & neighbours' puppy sitting.
Sat: Log stacking, bonfire with some mates, probably not much else as the puppy will get in the way.
Sun: Probably more log stacking. Hand back the puppy. Sleep.

I have The Distinguished Gentlemen round this evening for a few beers and a take away curry. Not going to be a huge one.
Tomorrow I shall get up and go to the gym for the 8.15 class, no doubt not feeling as fresh as I should. Out in the evening with friends and family for my birthday meal at a local Italian.
Sunday, me and Mrs, G are off to the New Forest for a couple of nights, staying in a nice pub.

Re: Friday thread... the end of the world is nigh
Nearly got locked in the training centre car park yesterday! Small incident with a fuckwit on the course meant that another guy stood and talked with me for a while after we finished.. When we went to leave, the gate was closed and you need a code to open it! Luckily I had the code from the other morning when we couldn't get in
Drove home a bit wobbly, brother was dealing with health stuff, so not available to talk and I realised I really don't have people I can randomly call when I want to bawl down the phone! Luckily I was heading to dinner at some mates' house and they are awesome, so it ended up a really good finish to the day Got back at after midnight I was impressed as I have been up at 5am every morning last week
Today, Only just up, showered, sorted stuff out and breakfasted (lunch really!). Getting a lift down to get the bike and then do a small shop of 'essentials'. Go to see my friend with the pasty shop then come back to probably do more organising then some revision.
Sunday - revising in the office. I need to print some stuff and also I have no actual table in my place so trying to have books, notepad and a laptop to hand for revision is just not easy. So, as there's a studio with a proper table and chairs behind the office, I'm heading there for the day tomorrow to 'work'! (Might head down for a coffee first tho )

Re: Friday thread... the end of the world is nigh
I ended up going down the the Ace Cafe Reunion Brighton Burn Up thang
Not quite it was a few years ago - bikes started rolling in en mass at about 13.30. The weather was questionable.
Oddly very little to see of interest - only a lot of tat stores and the Ace Cafe selling T Shirts at an impressive price.
Stopped and talked to the West Sussex Triumph Owners Group - and that was about it.
The back patch clubs were out in force
