Friday thread the mornings are getting crisper again one
Went out to the garage this morning and you can deffo feel the chill compared to a few weeks ago.
Fri. WFH and prepping bikes, van, kit, stuff for the weekend. Dominos Pizza and a bit of golf for the boy later.
Sat. Early doors into the van and driving to Shropshire for a day of practice, cooking and beers. Tent night... eeeek
Sun. Hopefully having survived the night the boy is racing Pearce at Bucknell, it's a fun track he knows and likes... then home to watch World Champs and relax.

Off for a few days down at the stately pile near Chichester next week. Meeting a few of the local rufty tufty* bikers for lunch one day
Legging it home before the road pandemonium starts for the Goodwood Revival meeting.
* speel chucker corrected that to 'rusty tufty'.

Aye, definitely a fair bit nippier this morning than of late, but a beautiful day- this is my current view, and will be until Sunday evening

Fri, day off so dog walk and maybe some MTB maintenance. Riding home from work last night being chased by the sunset and definitely cooler in the evening now. Winter is coming.........well months of grey Skys and pissing rain.
Sat and Sun, 12hr day shifts at work.

Too bastard hot in Chambéry! For riding a bike or for sleeping (overnight! Not whilst driving!! LOL)
I'm home for the weekend and I am going to try and sort out borrowing a vehicle from my winter boss so I can drive in every day. It's a bit of a way, but TBH, I think it will be better even with the drive!
Heading out around 8pm to meet some friends for a catch up before most of them go back to the uk
Tomorrow - try and get up early, head to the valley to get some supplies, then back up to do some homework/revision. Then there's a BBQ up here for a closing party at my mates cafe. There's also a closing party down in 1800, not sure I'll make both, but I'd like to if I can!
Sunday - more revision.. then organising to get ready to head back to Chambéry for more training - it's still scary, weirdly the least scary is the driving bit!!

Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!

Re: Friday thread the mornings are getting crisper again one
We went for a walk around the local food festival this afternoon, had some really lovely Gyros.
Going karting tomorrow for my nephew's 21st and taking my godfather to the airport on Sunday morning. Forecast suggests the weather might be better in the afternoon so hope to get out on a bike.

Re: Friday thread the mornings are getting crisper again one
Early Saturday and Sunday, then 3 nights.
Family fun day tomorrow that one of the lads at works partner has arranged so we’re all off to support him.
Off to Lake Bala in the caravan at the end of the week, for a week, after the lovely little ones have gone back to school. Planning the Mach Loop, Snowdon, Llandudno and Anglesey.
Have fun all, drive safe, especially through my bit.
Mick

Low lying mist on the park at about dawn this morning.
Re: Friday thread the mornings are getting crisper again one
Last weekend of the in-laws being here.
Today WFH while Muz entertained his family, and my lovely Aunt-in-law trialled one of my mum's walking trollies (like motorbikes, one is not enough), as, at 79, she's not very good on her feet these days.
Tomorrow, over to Ludlow for lunch with F-i-L and A-i-L. Mow my mum and dad's lawn.
Sunday, wave them off, remove all clothing, drink heavily.

As long as you cheer the boy on and bring beer, you can do what you likeSunny wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 10:00 pmWill you mind if we're naked and refuse to talk to anybody?weeksy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 9:57 pmDrop into Bucknell for a beer. Re: Friday thread the mornings are getting crisper again one
Big birthday for me this weekend.
BBQ tomorrow with about 100 people. I’m cooking.
Sunday whisked off somewhere (no idea where).
Week off
New company website should be ready next week, new company launched week after. Already have 3 companies wanting to commission.
Anyways - have a blast everyone.
