Chain Lube

Post by Beancounter »

A stupid thought possibly but why is motorcycle chain lube not appropriate for use on bicycle chains, especially EMTBs which have their own specific chain lube because of the higher torque placed on the drivetrain?

Nope, I think it's Muc Off motorcycle chain lube - I've probably had the tin at least 10 years

Tin looks like this

I didn't know it wasn't suitable, and because of that have used my m/c chain lube on bicycle chains since forever.
