#41 doesn't pull any punches

Post by Sadlonelygit »

Re: Morbidelli
Do a search, can't be arsed to re-look for it, but he's questioning why someone who has had works bikes since he arrived in MotoGP hasn't delivered! Constantly out ridden by team mates, behind gp23 bikes in this years championship, basically blocking a seat for new talent, and now a VR46 ride in the offing.
And the press seems obsessed by Miller's predicament rather than looking at more deserving targets of their scorn.
And yes, I know #41 and Morbidelli aren't the best of mates!

It bemuses me how Morbi has a ride at all... along with Nakagami too, probably 3-4 others too. But there's only so many riders in the world to fill the seats.

A number of observations...

1. Miller has generally underperformed his bikes, but has development experience on Ducati and KTM which could prove invaluable to Yamaha/Pramac.
2. For most of his career Asparagus the Elder has had shit, no-hoper bikes to ride. Since 2017 he has been instrumental in developing the Aprilia into a winning machine, and has taken the top step on it 3 times. For that he deserves credit.
3. Morbidelli must be in the last chance saloon, especially when you consider the machinery he's had at his disposal during his MotoGP career. But he's mates with Vale...
