Austrian MotoGP

Post by Yorick »

Blimey. Bagnaia smashed the lap record out of the park on day 1.
MM93 and other usual suspects all going well..

To be honest he's been a huge disappointment in my fantasy team this year. I keep thinking of binning him but part of me hopes he'll do better.

He started spectacularly. Then settled into what was/is expected.

He'll be a top lad, eventually.

Silly is an ok word for that!!

First time I've been home in time to see it on Servus and in English!! Here's hoping I get back in time for the main event tomorrow!!

Bit dull after all sadly.

On Marquez - I understand that he wants to win again, and might well at some point this year - even more likely next - but he could do with thinking of the team sometimes. I’m sure they’d take a second over a DNF.

There's an increasing air of desperation around MM and he's simply crashing too often.

Moto3 was brilliant as ever :obscene-birdiedoublered:
David Alonso is the real deal.

But Ortola was amazing to start from dead last in pit lane and finished 9th . He did his tyre early on and nothing at the end.

David Alonso in Moto3 reminds me so much of a certain Valentino Rossi in 125cc, even down to the bubbly personality.

Ifs and buts. If the Moto2 championship started 6 races ago, Jakey would be top.
He's the bottom row

How did Somkiat Chantra get a motogp ride for next year? Fermin Aldeguer is nowhere these days either, but at least I can see why he was picked for a motogp ride. Some odd decisions.

The new Pirelli tyres are messing up more than a few riders in moto2 and moto3.

Two good races in the smaller classes, but the main race was a bit of a yawn.
