Being a Virgo I'm very level headed and as such I clearly don't believe in all that superstitious claptrap.

That said, I will not be without my lucky cornicelli on the bike:

The red on has been repainted a number of times, as everybody knows red charms are luckier.

Anybody else wanna fess up to believing in fairies, Father Christmas and good luck charms?

For some odd reason I've worn a St Christopher for years and years and I feel a bit without it when travelling.

(He has been deleted from the Catholic liturgy as they reckon he didn't exist ).

Not remotely religious but I also have multiple St Christopherses as lucky charms for traveling. One (cheap and nasty) badge on the front grille of the moighty 406 (it's been on three cars so far - and, no, none of them were involved in serious accidents) plus also on various car's key rings.

Nope, not a thing. I'll also cheerfully make statements like 'I've not had a puncture in decades' without thinking I'll immediately get flat tyre.

The only reason I'd describe myself as agnostic is a lack of proof of a god.

I think my my parents paid too much attention to Dr Spock when they raised me.

Added: I work with someone who reckons 'Callouts always come in threes.' Yes I suppose they do, if you stop counting at three and reset the count.

Many top sportsmen/women have their lucky routines , underpants or put their socks on in a certain order right ? I've been playing bowls for about three years , but my games is inconsistent . Recently I had my best game ever , and upon visiting the gents at the end of play , discovered that I had left my flies undone........ nuff said

Oh yeah. When I was driving back and forth to mainland Europe a lot the missus gave me a Jellycat giraffe as a travel companion (good conversationalist ).

Le customs plod at Pas de Calais used to routinely pull me out of the line of cars (Belgian plate ) and give the car a going over. Which also involved taking my giraffe from the passenger seat and X-raying it.

(I told it to say 'Je dit rien, flic, ton mère est une hamster').

I once bought a low miles,mint ZX9R and had it for about a week when I dropped it on a left hander. Probably a combination of being too greedy with the throttle on aged tyres when well cranked over. At that point I hadn't binned a bike for many years.

Anyway,when I pulled off the trashed fairing lowers,I found a silver St.Christopher medal taped to the inside. I fucked it over the hedge with some authority and never crashed that bike again.
