Camponata, risotto e poi biancaneve*

*it means 'white snow'. Never take the giallo neve if it's offered. ;)
I've gone for the tiramisu as I had biancaneve last time!
The camponata was exquisite by the way!
The risotto was bello!

I had leftovers. :(

I got pulled today for 2 tiny white line infringements in car.
Didn't see bike cop who was 4 cars behind me.
He let first go, but blue lights for 2nd

First was behind car doing 60 in 90.
2nd passing camper doing 30 in same 90.

100€ fine but no points deducted.

Dropped a car off in the valley and got a lift home

Did some sewing

Went to meet some mates in the next village down - was bought alcohol (some genépis and a rum   )

Got the last bus home cos walking home isn’t fun and I felt slightly worse for wear (sadly means I left earlier than most!) - had been chatting about the driver that’s been flirting with me for years but backs off whenever I get brave!! Yup - same again. Zero flirting with drunk Noggin 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sooooo funny!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

On the second day of our holiday. Hotel is tired. Buffet is el crapo. But sitting on the balcony drinking sangria with my girl, watching the world go buy is priceless! Also I slept like a dead elephant and after yesterday’s mounting climbing up these hilly streets I’m as lethargic as a sloth today!

An afternoon sightseeing in Segovia then dinner at the hotel. Just looking at the campsite wifey has organised on the north coast which doesn't take tents, I should have looked earlier. An interesting couple of days ahead trying to find somewhere to stay.

Yeah,I'd love to know the story behind them. In places it almost looks manufactured.

edit...
The Geological Society of Glasgow had a very successful weekend excursion to Antrim’s Causeway Coast in September 2017. During the excursion we explored over 600 million years of geological history exposed on the northeast Irish coast of County Antrim, from Portrush to the Giant’s Causeway and Ballintoy Bay. The rocks are superb, with ages ranging through the Precambrian (basement), Dalradian Supergroup, Devonian (puddingstone conglomerate), Carboniferous, Triassic, Jurassic (ammonites, belemnites and bivalves), Cretaceous (chalk and metamorphosed chalk) and Palaeogene, including, of course, the spectacular North Atlantic Igneous Province with its lavas, sills and volcanic plugs.

One of the most spectacular of the formations that we saw was the Devonian puddingstone at Cushendun, which has been eroded to form the Cushendun Caves. These rocks were laid down by flash floods in a desert environment, and contain clasts with a huge range of sizes.

The caves feature, as do many other locations in Northern Island, in the television series Game of Thrones. (The caves appeared in season two as a cove in the Stormlands.) Game of Thrones tourist excursions are now a thriving industry in Northern Island and we saw several coaches devoted to these

Absolute dogshit day!

Work trip to Germany - Ryanair from Stansted, delayed as usual and the airport must have been 30 degrees!
Make it to Memmingen in the fatherland and head to the Avis desk, no car for me FFS! €170 cab ride later and I'm at the hotel.
Hope of some food - no chance, restaurant is closed and pizza place down road closes before I can get to it.
Head to my room and grab a beer from the fridge - it's warm!

What a wank day.....

WFH.
Walked my dog and the lunatic spaniel puppy we're looking after for the week.
Painted the spare room some more. One more coat on two walls and I'll be done 🥳
