I add tinned pineapple chunks to my Chilli in the slow cooker. About 30 mins before serving.

Chocolate grated into chili, lush

I can’t cope with mixing main course and pudding on the same plate eg gammon/pineapple, pork/apple sauce, turkey/cranberry.

On a similar theme, people who visit the buffet and put both their dinner and dessert on the same plate. Without meaning to stereotype, it's mainly overweight Americans who do this, I suppose to avoid the exertions of heaving their obese bodies off the chair once again.

Eat the dessert first, then go back for the main course. Why would anyone fill up on taters instead of puddin'?

They can/do use cocoa mass - so bitter dark pre chocolate

I think the Kashmiris (and poss Gujaratis) do the fruity curry thing. (IIRC Vesta chicken curry had raisins in).

As an aside, the owner of a place we used to use in Bradford always laughed merrily at the popularity of the 'chicken Madras'. 'Ho ho ho! They're all vegetarians in Madras!'.

The missus likes the Lindt 90% and Chococo 100% stuff. It's not chocolate as we know it and anyone that's tried eating cooking chocolate expecting it to be like Cadburies is in for a shock.

AFAIK though 'traditional' cooking chocolate has a different ratio of carb/fat/protein to 100% cocoa eating chocolate.
