In resume , I think in need proper navigation. Who wins ? Garmin or google maps?

I've still got that Garmin you can have. You could give it a go and then update the maps etc if it works for you. There's no bike cradle but it'll work in a tank bag.

(I've used Garmin devices, TomTom on Android and Google maps + variants built in on vehicles and Garmin is probably favourite with TomTom close second).
