Same here. Words go through periods of being the latest buzzword in finance. Bifurcated was one a while back.

Can I chuck in 'contiguous'?
A while ago all my colleagues remained cognisant of things, rather than just keeping them in mind.
I use 'cognisant' a fair bit.

And I do like to use the word 'Magnificent' as much as possible.
Glorious is mine, but not said quickly you have to spread it out to get the full effect.

Many years ago we were watching a dodgy film on a boy's night in.

2 black guys were servicing a lovely young lass. Then one decided to take advantage of the tradesman's entrance.

After a while he proclaims

"This ass is treemendous" (Accent on tree)

We still joke about it now :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I have a whole range of insulting words used to describe other drivers that my young adult offspring are amazed by when I use them, such as nong, dipshit, fuck wit and dilbert.

Neither of them understand why "Joey" is an insulting term.

Usufruct.

A few years back when I used to manage the site, I got the site Management Plan translated into English - owners were about 50/50 Turkish and English (one Swede).

The translator who carried out the task gave me the translated copy to proof read. I had to phone her up and ask what usufructs were.

I got some Tsukigi parts from Japan for my ZRX11. The instructions were incomprehensible gibberish. Turns out the Japanese instructions were translated into English by a Swede who apparently didn't speak Japanese or English. :eh: :?

Perspicacity - just one of those words I like the sound of.

There’s a small village near where we’re staying at the moment called Parlava. I do the Dad joke every time we pass through.

Both my kids know who Joey was, does that make me a bad parent?

Peccadillo - a relatively minor fault or sin.

I always thought that 'The Peccadilloes' would be a great band name.

I'm quite fond of "shenanigans" and a think "unctuous" is a good un as well.
My mother used unctuous to describe a particularly smarmy bloke she had to deal with at her work.

And isnt "Confibularities" from Blackadder? The dictionary one?

Isn't Shenanigans a franchise of Irish theme bars?

They're everywhere.

I'm a big big of "Twerp" as an insult not full on sweary but it covers a lot of ground when someone is being a bit of a stroppy teenager type. Bit of a Kevin if you see what I mean.
A Cumbrian one I also like is "Chull" and no, it's not a type of fish.
Oh and reciprocity.

I first got to know about reciprocity in connection with the word 'failure'. It's a film photography thing. Anyone else encountered it in that connection?
