That reminded me of the Tyrell 6 wheel F1 cars of the 70s.

Only the 11th GB women's athletics gold medal winner.

I remembered 9 of the previous 10 😉

The Norwegian was so interested in pushing the Kerr out he totally left the inside track open for the american, who tbf, totally made the most of the opportunity, didn't need a 2nd invite.

Yep, this is why silly rivalries are exactly that, both so focused on beating the other guy they didn't think about all the rest of the field

I'm baffled by the choice of swimming in the Seine.

Surely the rowing venue would have been cleaner and easier.

I guess because it is iconic, the rowing venue was the fallback if the Seine was too dirty.

They had Chris Hoy on the Beeb last night, apparently the handlebars on the Brit bikes are 3D printed Titanium and have to take a force of 750 Nm from the riders as they start accelerating!. My ZH2 peak torque is 137Nm.

"Especially the lies."

750N on the end of a 0.75m bar sticking out actually :D

The ones I did were proper dinky little things stuck on top of carbon lower bars. The athletes were a bit concerned with how insubstantial they looked so the techy guys from BC sent them a pic of me sitting on the end of the extension bar/tube sticking out (the bit you actually hold).

Wiggo was allowed a different lower bar cause he's over a certain height, you can see how his (third back) is higher in the middle.

The little riser bit is a carbon tube made custom for each rider, we shaved more than 100g out of the bars doing that to replace the stacked up bits of ally they had before.

I've always loved track cycling and followed all the stars including Laura Kenny.

But WTF when she talks :D. I hate the London accent at best of times, but she sounds common as muck to make it worse :D I turn the sound off :obscene-birdiedoublered:

One thing Iove about the athletics, is that they have live links to their family watching at home, so winners can go straight to them to celebrate :obscene-birdiedoublered:

What a great 400m race :obscene-birdiedoublered:

MHS has dropped the British record by nearly a full second in last 2 years :)

5th best of all time.

Just watched Taikwondo.

It's just handbags :obscene-birdiedoublered:

They can't hit hard. But only touch to score points.

Dull compared to stuff like karate etc
