Went out with my boy and his mate. In the car park his mate snapped his frame.

So I said to his dad to pick up my Parkwood and I'd use that while his boy uses my G160

15 min in this happens

New mech hanger.

Also need a pair of jockey wheels on it actually but they have done 10,000 miles on turbo lol. So will fit a spare mech tomorrow

How do you snap a frame in a car park? One of those nights where it safer to just go home.

Looking at the Parkwood last night when sorting the chain and mech hanger i noticed the jockey wheels are WAY past their best LOL.

They've done about 1500 miles outdoors and the best part of 10,000 miles indoors. So not a massive shock i guess.

Been wanting to see how long I could make 1 charge last on my emtb with only using the assist when I couldn't be bothered to put the effort in, it's taken a few rides to do it but found out today, in total it was 68.14 miles and 4325ft of climbing, what does it mean, nothing really lol just thought I'd say 😁

At times very muddy, as in needing to stop to free the wheels from mud 😁

Cycled from north london to box hill via Richmond park/Kingston/Esher/leatherhead. Covered just under 86km, I forgot to start Strava for about 2km, and by the time we got home I could handle doing a lap of where I live to get 100km.

Was great fun. Longest road ride I’ve ever done. Loving the new bike, goes really well.

Once we got to Box hill is pissed down and we got soaked though, time for a water proof jacket, I’d love a Gore shake dry but there serious wedge.

Covered some lovely roads and a few nasty one but over all loved it. Might get the train there next time and ride around that area. We cycled to Ewell west and got the train to Victoria and then cycled home.

Well and truly knackered.

Had a day out around Ladybower Reservoir yesterday, been up there a couple of times now and really enjoy it, the views and the ride are great.

I've now done over 700 miles on the EMTB I've owned since early June - may not be much, but I bet it's more than I've ever cycled in 6 months.

It can be; cold, still, crisp nights with the stars burning down at you are epic, last nights not so much, it was very windy, I wasn't feeling it and I blew up halfway round, not even half a pack of Tangfastics helped with the energy either...... I was very pleased to get home.

The boy got home late from school and hit me with "can we go out jumping?"

So that's what we did.

I still have a struggle with it, despite having hit and landed this set more than 100 maybe 200 times. I'm just not as confident as my lad. He makes it all look effortless and I sort of bumble my way over them.

I try though and he gets excited for me, so it's all good.
