St Quentin is pretty nice... for a town twinned with Rotherham.
Friday, finish work at 3pm and drive to Whitby for my wedding anniversary weekend of sun, sea and sexytime.

We'll only arrive at 11pm or later and leaving by 8am tomorrow. If we'd planned it differently and the boy hadn't gone away then we'd have not even bothered with that. It's got a shop for pastries, which is all we need for breakfast and fuelling up for the drive.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 6:46 am St Quentin is pretty nice... for a town twinned with Rotherham.

I too am off on holibobs. By lunchtime Saturday I shall be in Nerja for a week. Then back home for a few trips away in the campervan, hopefully...

Tonight, I'll be watching these guys while eating a steak dinner.
Plans for Saturday include sorting out a jammed paper shredder. That will likely involve dismantling it.

Saturday: Painting spare room walls, mowing parents lawn (if it dries up - the current rain is unexpected)
Sunday: doing an organised walk/eat/drink thing. May or may not take one or both dogs. Possibly more painting of walls.
