Not the engine I would choose, but the sohc 750s are getting a vit spendy these days.

I kind of think if you're going to go with modern (although I guess they aren't so much any more) upside-downies you need to go the whole hog with the running gear - modern looking cast wheels and a racier swingarm.
And I think air cooled motors are definitely in the rose-tinted-specs category now.
But styling wide I think it's ok. And other than my whinges, I think it'd be a lot of fun.

I agree with you about the USD forks on a retro cafe racer.
TBH I think it would look a lot better with handlebars,spoked wheels & mudguards but it's all subjective.
