Trashed Screen.

Post by Yorick »

Not washed bike since Jerez so had to get all the stickers off the screen.

Used petrol as usual and left a funny residue. So used thinners. Nope.
Finally washing up liquid to get the gunge off.
Now it's fucked. Dull and lots of scratches and a few tiny cracks. WTF

Needs a new one. Not even I can go out with that on :obscene-birdiedoublered:

A DA polisher and some plastic polish will sort it out.

The cracks don't look good, bin it. You don't want it disintegrating while you're riding fast.

Edit: bloody spill chucker

This one was only £22. They've nearly tripled in 5 years :(

A bike without screen is like a car without a windscreen.

Remember that next time you're riding in cold and rain

Riding in what?
Are you suggesting using a motorcycle as transport?

It's a message - Don't put a wanky screen on your bike; leave it clear, as the good lord Suzuki intended.

I thought you weren't allowed to mod your bike under Spanish law?

Buy cheap, buy twice. Just order a double bubble thing from a reputable Spanish/UK outfit.
