The gurl in the photo is tall, fairly skinny and not what you'd call representative...

For the bottom half I wear kevlar lined jeans and Knox Action pro armoured leggings (unless it's really scorchio, when it's just jeans). The leggings are unisex, and also go up to 3XL.

I definitely like the jacket. In theory the 2 or 3 xl would fit now - but often it's as much shape and length as size. I sometimes think that manufacturers forget about 'shape'! Quite often a jacket will seem to fit on my shoulders (described in my teens20's - 80's & 90's - as the sort of shoulders that don't need pads for fashion, or American football player shoulders ) but won't do up around my hips; if it does up over my hips/waist (if it's shorter it generally fits better!) then it won't do up over my boobs   So it's something I 100% need to go and try on before I buy!!

I doubt I could do two layers in summer here - my kevlar lined jeans are just so so think and heavy I don't wear them. I do have some somewhat smaller Draggin Jeans that seem to be a good compromise of weight/thickness so hopefully I'll get to try them.

But that jacket is right up there on the list :D :D :D

I'm really pleased with my jacket. It's properly vented, but has good kwoll body armour and the outer shell looks like it could stand being dragged along the road without falling apart. Ticks all the boxes.

I've bought a Furygan vented jacket, it feels thin and like I'm riding in a t-shirt with body armour

Same here - having had one accident at 80mph in armoured jeans where I escaped with a slight bruise and cut on my knee, and another accident in Levi's at 15mph where my knee-cap was ripped off: I wear armour at all times on the bike.

Currently using a pair of Rokker jeans for most of my riding, with D3O armour, and I generally still use the Hein Gericke HiProtec armour in my jackets (because it's comfortable, and highly effective).
