Geneva is not shit
I’m sure the weather made a bit of a difference, but even so it’s lovely.
Since we arrived here at 4pm today-
- been on the river
-the lake
- local beer
- some massive African lady asked me if I’d like to pump her for 50 Swiss francs.
- some super fat American women kicked off that the bar didn’t have Diet Pepsi and the bartender said ‘why bother?’ I laughed. My 13yo thought i was rude for laughing. He’s probably right.
Other than that, the people are lovely.
The pic of the sat nav is the route in from France. Would love to try it on the bike- the car was mental enough.
Another thing I’ve discovered about the car ( well, 2):
- the Volvo had go-kart driving where when you lifted off the throttle, it braked. The BMW can be set to this (although it won’t come to a complete stop). However, in ‘adaptive’ mode - it will, and when on the motorway, it will cruise control in adaptive for ever and slow when there is traffic.
- the recharge in the car is crazy. In the Volvo you had to be at about 56 mph for it to be really economical. This car is do e for 80moh. Today I was predicted to arrive in Geneva on 30% battery, but got here on 48%. That might not sound exciting- but the car is still saying I have 360km of range left.
Anyway- the rest of the non-car is interesting too I guess.

Re: Geneva is not shit
I love Geneva - I rarely see much of it as generally just go to the airport, but it's a lovely city
And, your 13 year old is right - it's rude to laugh at that comment! But - I would have as well
