Re: Rocker Red GT 650
I'm not really pushing the brakes much tbh. It is an absolute 'great fun' bike to ride though. Really enjoy the riding position and power is enough for the job description.
2 x trips and a fuel gauge, what more do I need, well, maybe a gear indicator, gone for 7 a few time's, however 4k rpm at 65mph will have me in 6.

Re: Rocker Red GT 650
One thing I have noticed I think, is a very slight juddering from the front, like the front wheel not quite balanced properly. It's hardly noticeable but will mention at service.
It's a valve check on these at first service, 300>500 and fresh oil, then yearly. Got a little oil cooler gaurd on the way, stand bobbins are on and that's about it for now, oh ye 8x6 BB plate is on. Cheers Tricky.

Re: Rocker Red GT 650
Brembo make pads for them, with decent brake fluid they were good enough for track use

They're BYBRE callipers. Which is short for BY BREMBO. They're the budget arm of Brembo.

Standard pads are rubbish yeah, I used the upgraded brembo ones and as I recall they are the same as CB500 pad

Re: Rocker Red GT 650
Bike back from first service. £160. Got a Temu special Rad gaurd on now , little did i know it comes with one from new, changed it though, got a logo.
He dropped it off 6am Saturday, so later on had a run to the Ponderosa, horseshoe pass. It's all 40 mph now and bikes are giving it a miss judging by the numbers at cafe.
The Enfield brotherhood keeps growing, i chatted to a chap on a scram. He's really enjoying it and says the 28 bhp is enough for him, I found it slightly lacking on some road's, think the bigger 450 LC would be fine though.
Out again today for a short one as forecast was dry. Got up the road a few miles and it pissed down. Probably done near 600 miles now and very happy miles they have been.
