I'm just being a bit over protective I guess. I've always had taller boots (higher?) for riding and, remembering the bruising and discomfort (minimal compared to the shoulder!) on my foot and ankle, I'm not convinced I wouldn't have had a broken ankle/leg as well if I'd had shorted ones like thatSkub wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2024 1:41 pmI use these a lot with jeans. All day comfy on the bike,or walking. More bike friendly/less clumpy than my Altbergs.

I don't mind walking around in mine, ok, not ideal in the current heat, but TBF, I go out to go riding and stop for coffee, very very rare I'll have to walk far in the boots - maybe around the supermarket for a quite top box sized top up!! LOL
These are my current boots (not the actual boots cos they's more damaged!) - bought another pair exactly the same, second hand but like new, that a friend is bringing back to resort with him, so will have some undamaged ones to wear soon
(I have really small feet for my height, so ankle boots are quite low!! But I can stand closer to the sink - before Yorick says anything!!)
