That makes it look like either the front or rear wheels have been fitted the wrong way round, resulting in it trying to fall off the ramps.

Dual wheel axel innit. The wheels have enormous offset so you can mount them "back to back" and have the 4 rear tyres.

Does your truck actually have 6 tyres ZX?

Talking of which, I was in Beverley Hills earlier this week & dropped by the rental place. Not sure about the other cars, but that orange McLaren is $2,000/day. That Bentley SUV was fucking lush.

I've never got out of Sheffield Costco for less than £350.

The only plus is that if I fill up the car at the same time it's circa 10p a litre cheaper than anywhere else.

I rode the bike quite a lot and thought I was gonna expire due to heat/dehydration!! LOL

Went to Bourg to meet some mates - both driving Capris, which was cool. Watched a load of random British cars drive past the restaurant we were coffeeing at - turns out they were doing this -

https://www.twoballbangerrally.co.uk/th ... rally.html

Just one of the wacky racers!!

Image

Then went to Aime as one of the Capri guys has a bolt/screw to fix my phone holder on the bike :D (And yes, I did tell the "screw, driver?" joke in Franglais after he asked what the word was in English!! LOL)

Image

Image

Whilst there, they were trying to fix the headlights on another Capri (THREE Capris in one place  ) - which was highly entertaining cos the third guy was apparently an electronics/electrics professor - but it took him ages to not work out the issue when my two mates knew the issue was the wrong bulb

Image

Back to Bourg to get a pasty for lunch, then the other side of Bozel to pick up some books, then Bride Les Bains for a medical (so I can do my driving course!)

Image

Being in the valley (and slightly above then going back down) was just bastard HOT!! Had to come home for a shower and change as totally couldn't head to the bbq when I got back!!

BBQ was aces :D :D :D

A few weeks ago I went to an Estate Sale & scored six framed photos & artwork from some guy who worked on cargo parachute program out at EAFB for decades/ Pics shows B52, C130, C15, C5, C141, signed by dozens of people dating back to 1971 until his retirement.
Donated them to the new museum they're building out at Edwards & just had a van show up with Govt plates on it to pick them up.

So that's my good deed for the decade.

Twin rear wheel. My convoy is the same. Outer wrong way round. Makes checking the air a pain in the arse

On my previous one, the valve stem for the inner poked out through a hole in the outer rim so it was cake. This one is a PITA as it doesn't have one of those inner valve stems. I have to reach between the tires, they run 60psi.

You can get an aftermarket Tyre Pressure Monitoring System if it is that much of a PITA. Won't help you actually inflate them though!

Dunno about the US, but TPMS is a legal requirement on lots of new vehicles over here, so the sensors are pretty cheap these days.

Sitting at home crossing fingers the rain/thunderstorm will stop!!

I agreed to do a short transfer, downside was I have to ride the bike to the valley to get the minibus.

Only, the heavens opened just now and it's a thunder and lightening monsoon!! I Really don't want to ride down the mountain (especially on the bits of brand new tarmac!) in heavy rain!

Got about 2 hours of hoping it clears

I heard someone with threats about that be advised to wear a 'medical alert' bracelet or similar.

If found unconscious, you run the risk of being treated as brachycardic. I don't know whether treatment decisions are based solely on HR, or on BP etc too.

But get professional advice - don't do it because Hoss said so ;)

Always had a low rhr, did far too much sport as a child, apparently my heart is a bit squew-whiff as well, which is common in top flight athletes, so the quack said.
