Just to broaden the subject, as everyone seems to believe Farage needs a twatting, there is a footballer named James McClean, famous for his pro republican, anti English, anti poppy / colonialism etc. He likes to poke the bear / stand up for his views
Does anyone have the right to throw a milkshake in his face or punch him, just because they don’t agree which is provocative stance.
Obviously the answer is no - so you don’t have the right to do that to public figures

I haven't (yet) had the urge to throw a milkshake at either of them. Is there something wrong with me?mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 1:03 pm
He polarises opinions in very much the same way his best buddy Trump does. In the USA they use guns to show their displeasure, in the UK it's milkshakes.

Bollocks. You are confusing the way someone acts, speaks and behaves with the way they dress.irie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 6:47 pmThat's like saying women shouldn't wear 'revealing' clothing because it invites sexual violence.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:05 amIf you read my words I didn't say it was without consequence, more that Farage seems to attract this kind of unwanted attention by the very nature of his Marmite persona. It would help if folks responded to what I actually said, rather than what they wished I'd said.

Unsurprising, of course ...

Never address the question at hand, just make condescending remarks.
